CONCERT BAND
Concert Band is the second performing band at Lemon Bay High School. This class is for underclassmen students still developing their technical skills, and upperclassmen students who wish to begin learning a secondary instrument. Students will perform Florida Bandmasters Association music graded at a level 3 and higher during the course of the year. The ability to read music is considered essential to this class.
Symphonic Winds
Symphonic Band is the top performing concert band at Lemon Bay High School. Students are selected for the class based on audition. This class should be regarded as an honors-level course based on its required components. Students will perform Florida Bandmasters Association music graded at a level 4 and higher during the course of the year. The ability to read music is essential to this class and the success of the students.

JAZZ
Jazz band focuses on the performance, study, and development of music written specifically for the jazz band. Due to the difficulty of the music and the demands on the performer, this class is considered an advanced ensemble. Students in jazz band will be required to perform in a variety of events throughout the school year. The ability to read music is considered essential to this class.
